  1. Caddies Eye Camps with Caddies Welfare Trust (CWT), Golf Club - Sagar Trust organises regular eye camps for Caddies Welfare Trust  
 

Caddies Welfare Trust LogoA 'not for profit' charitable Trust, CWT was formed in 2011 to assist caddies, pan India, to face the challenges that exist in their under-privileged lives.

Chaired by Chairman Sidharth Shriram, CWT's Trustees are committed to give back to the game, in a structured and systematic manner, by identifying core issues relevant to this commiunity of individuals, so integral to the game of golf.

CWT's prime aim is to help caddies achieve an acceptable standard of living by assuring bare essentials such as life insurance, healthcare and adequate training. In doing so, it is the Trust's hope to encourage other young men and women to take up caddying with pride and dedication.

  2. GB Road Project with ONGC - Sagar Trust organises regular eye camps for sex workers in GB Road in collaboration with ONGC

Maharatna ONGC is India's largest producer of crude oil and natural gas, contributing about 70% of domestic production in India. Crude oil is the raw material used by downstream companies like IOC, BPCL, HPCL to produce petroleum products like Petrol, Diesel, Kerosene, Naphtha, Cooking Gas-LPG.

ONGC is India’s Top Energy Company and ranks 20th among global energy majors (Platts). It is ONGC's vision to be a global leader in integrated energy business through sustainable growth, knowledge excellence and exemplary governance practices.

The project sanctioned by ONGC pertains to providing and institutionalizing quality eye care for commercial sex workers and their children in Delhi. This project is currently in the first phase.

  3. Carterpuri Eye Camps with members of AFFWA - Sagar Trusts organises regular eye camps with members of AFFWA at Carterpuri  
 

Tuesday charitable dispensary run by Air Force Wives : CHARITABLE CLINIC, CARTERPURI, GURGAON

The Sahaj Sagar Trust was started in 2011 April by Dr Santosh Dham, Reva Chhabra and Monica Kumar. The aim and vision of the Trust was to provide medical care to the Carterpuri Gurgaon local village residents and immigrant population. The patients are mostly aged persons, women and children who do not find affordable medical care facilities around the area.

The Clinic is run by Dr Santosh Dham retd Sqdn Ldr and Dr Pushpinder, retd Chief Civil Surgeon. The patients are given free medical advice and free medicines. The medicines are of the best quality and cover a broad spectrum of diseases. Several volunteers help to run the clinic. The clinic also offers physio therapy to the needy.

Once a year, a free eye medical camp is held and as per requirement cataract and other surgeries are performed through the year. To date, 7 camps have been held treating over 500 patients and covering 16 surgeries. Dental camps are also held every 2 months or so providing free checkup and basic dental care. For advanced dental care patients are either treated free or at subsidised rates. Free or subsidised pathology, xray and ultrasound services are also given to needy patients.

Thus far, we have received funds from friends and well wishers to carry on our activities. Over the years, more than 15000 patients have benefitted from the clinic. All funds are received through the Bank.

4. ABEM Project - Under the ABEM initiative, Sagar Trust provides free Oculoplastic surgeries for poor children.

 
 

The ABEM initiative was started in December, 2014 by founders, Marie & Gautam Prasad with family and friends.

Under this initiative, free oculoplastic surgery is conducted to correct eye deformities in poor children.

All the surgeries and hospitalization are provided free of cost, sponsored by ABEM's swiss-based family in her memory.
